Change, 2022
Nothing will change if you don’t change.
In the second photo, you’ll notice the stitching around the edges of the canvas. While I was painting, the canvas unexpectedly started to tear. I quickly went to my bathroom, picked up my needle and thread from my sewing kit, and got to work because I WILL NOT waste a canvas or a painting. My specialty is upcycling pieces and transforming them into what you see here. The stitching adds a unique touch to this painting because it reflects how ones adapts to an unexpected challenge during the creative process.
Framing is available and recommended.
Mixed media on canvas: acrylic paint, oil paint, and spackling
24 x 35.5 inches
